- Senior Underwriter, Casualty Facultative (SG/HK)
- Be responsible for underwriting a profitable book of facultative casualty business in Asia, for all Casualty lines;
- Translate technical expertise into reinsurance solutions that fit clients’ needs; and
- Contribute to the steering of the casualty portfolio with the aim to achieve the company targets.
- Be responsible for the risk portfolio assigned to him/her. Technically underwrite, assess and price all traditional casualty business;
- Support business in joint agreement with marketers on both treaty and facultative reinsurance solutions;
- Together with the respective marketer he/she is responsible for the client relationship;

- Senior Underwriter, Marine (SG/HK)
- The Marine department covers markets for the whole of Asia including Middle East, Turkey and Australia New Zealand region. The department is involved in both Facultative and Treaty for all class of Marine business being Marine Cargo, Marine Hull and Liability and even Protection and Indemnity.
- The Senior Underwriter assists the Line Head in the overall operation of the department including the setting of the Marine strategy and underwriting philosophy. He is also responsible for leading and guiding a team of Underwriters within the assigned markets and class of business, with an aim to underwrite a profitable book of business.
- Assist the Line Head in the overall operation of the department including setting of strategy and underwriting philosophy;
- Responsible for the market and quality of risk portfolio assigned. Select, assess, price and underwrite all the risks written by the Marine department;
- Lead and guide a team of Underwriters with an aim to underwrite a profitable book of business;
- Deputize other Senior Underwriter in his/her absence which means a full understanding of the overall Marine portfolio, markets involved and class of business written;
- Together with the respective marketer, is responsible for the client relationship and production of profitable business. Travelling is required to the respective markets as appropriate;
- Work closely with Pricing Tool Development team to develop Facultative Pricing Tools for individual Marine class of business, including subsequent review and update of the respective pricing tool;

- Senior Underwriter, Property Facultative (SG/HK)
- The Senior Underwriter works within a team of property underwriters, each of whom will have dedicated territorial responsibilities;
- The primary responsibility of the Senior Underwriter is to underwrite, manage and steer a portfolio of facultative risks, profitably;
- The Senior Underwriter is expected to develop and service a book of facultative business and where market visits are expected.
- The Senior Underwriter may also be required to train, mentor, develop and guide underwriters within the team;
- The Senior Underwriter is required to assist the Head of Department in setting out the directions, targets and goals for the team; and
- The Senior Underwriter may also be required to assist the Head of Department in setting out Underwriting Guidelines.

- The Senior Underwriter, Engineering is responsible for underwriting a profitable book of engineering business in Asia.
- Responsible for the risk portfolio assigned to him. He selects, assesses, rates and underwrites the risks;
- Responsible for the client relationship including to select, develop and support new business opportunities in the markets assigned.
- Responsible for the correct application of the Underwriting Guidelines and follows the Code of Conduct. He is accountable of the quality of his portfolio and the completeness of its records;
- To calculate premium and the Maximum Exposed Value (MEV) for capacity purposes.
- To review policy wordings, clauses, conditions, warranties and exclusions

- Head, Client Services
- Responsible for managing the relationship with Strategic and Core Clients. Works in partnership with these clients in order to gain an understanding of their requirements, with the aim of identifying further business opportunities;
- Establish timely and quality services to his/her responsible clients by engaging underwriters and working closely with them. Ensure delivery of strategic initiatives, training and other services to clients;
- Contribute to the success of both Core and Strategic clients with an aim to achieve ACR’s financial targets.
- To actively identify new Strategic and Core Clients, based on the definitions as outlined by the company and develop client management strategies;
- To establish and maintain close relationship with all Strategic and Core Clients and ensure that ACR understand their needs. To work closely with underwriters (both facultative and treaty) to service the clients’ needs;
- To be accountable for the ACR’s overall underwriting result from Strategic and Core Clients by underwriting sign-off all treaties and facultative accounts with Strategic and Core Clients;

- Is principally responsible for interpreting data, formulating reports and making recommendations on new business opportunities.
- To apply qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret the data and produce substantiated recommendations;
- To be responsible for formulating reports and making recommendations for clients (both internal and external) based on the research findings;
- To work with underwriters and external clients to understand, define and document the business objectives;

- The Assistant Underwriter plays an active role in the achievement of ACR’s business objectives and works within a team of Property and Engineering underwriters. The position supports the underwriting process by applying standard underwriting principles and procedures to evaluate new and renewal risks under direct supervision.
- Assist underwriters in pre-underwriting of PEN Facultative business;
