The Marine team comprises senior practitioners with experience from the shipping industry, as well as underwriting and claims handling expertise from both the primary insurance and reinsurance industry. Having built a good rapport with various ship owners and shipyards, the team has a good understanding of their operations and is familiar with the Asian risk landscape. The team writes a well balanced and diversified portfolio of treaty and facultative business across Asia, on proportional and non proportional basis. Classes of business written include Marine Hull, Marine Cargo, Marine Liabilities, Protection and Indemnity and Builders’ Risks.
